The average age of Psychologists was 39.2 years. The workforce was distributed in 19.9% men with an average salary of $4.26k MX and, 80.1% women with average salary of $4.59k MX.

The best average salaries received by Psychologists were in Chiapas ($13.8k MX), Guerrero ($11.8k MX), and Nayarit ($10.7k MX) while the workforce was larger in Ciudad de México (32k), Estado de México (29.8k), and Jalisco (10.4k).

In terms of industries, the best average salaries were in Broadcasting (Except Internet) ($24k MX), Religious, Grantmaking, Civic, Professional, and Similar Organizations ($16.8k MX), and Retail Trade of Health Care Items ($15k MX), while the workforce was concentrated on Offices of Physicians (81.2k), Regulation and Promotion of Economic Development (8.05%), and Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Hospitals (8.95k).

The states with the highest number of Psychologists during the fourth quarter of 2022 were Ciudad de México (32k), Estado de México (29.8k), and Jalisco (10.4k)

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the fourth quarter of 2022, the main positive variations occurred in Ciudad de México and Baja California with an increase of 7.34k (29.7%) and 3.42k (61.6%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Michoacán de Ocampo and Jalisco with a decrease of 2.65k (52.6%) and 1.55k (12.9%), respectively.

Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 16 to 18 years of schooling concentrating 138k workers of which 68.6%  corresponds to formal employment (94.7k) and 31.4% corresponds to informal employment (43.3k).
